How do I add a site to the Toronto.Net Directory?

Adding a web site is quiet simple – just follow these instructions.

How long does it take for my site to be listed in the Toronto.Net Directory?

Depending on the activity level of the editors, it may take up to 2 weeks or more for your site to be reviewed. We don't accept all sites, so please don't take it personally should your site not be accepted. Our goal is to make the directory as useful as possible for our users, not to have the directory include all (or even most) of the sites that could possibly be listed or serve as a promotional tool for the entities listed.

We accept web sites that geographically belong to Greater Toronto Area which, in general, has been defined but not limited to by the following cities and townships:

Does the Toronto.Net have an express submit service that will get my site listed quicker?

Yes, it does. With small fee you may submit your web site as an express submit and we will evaluate your web site within three business days. However, there are still not guarantee that submitted web site will be accepted. Submitted web site must comply our policies and guidelines.

How do I get my site listed in specific category?

You should submit your site with category that is directly relevant to your site's content. Please only submit your site one time. The Toronto.Net editors reserve the right to use their editorial discretion to determine which category your site will ultimately be placed.

How I can change web site description, title or URL?

If you have submitted your web site for free and as long as web site has been not evaluated yet, you can update your web sites properties as many times as you like on Web Sites Management page in your account. If web site has been evaluated by Toronto.Net Editors you cannot modify we sites records unless you apply for Express Submission.

If you have your web site Express Submitted or have a Sponsorship, then you have a privilege to change your web site records during the active period for free on Web Sites Management page in your account.

What I should do if my web site listed in Toronto.Net Directory but I didn’t submit it?

Toronto.Net Directory has automated tools to collect information from public domain and enlist founded web sites from Greater Toronto Area. You can add you web site to your account by following Claim Ownership instructions. After that you can use all Toronto.Net services to edit or advertise your web site.

Someone had submitted my website. What I should do?

Please use our contact page to send us e-mail with a proof of ownership of such web site and we will try to resolve your enquiry within a few days.
